Heritage Lifecare have a rewarding caregiver opportunity available to join our dedicated team at Broadview Lifecare in Whanganui.
- Permanent Full-time and Part-time Positions
- Must be Available for AM, PM, weekend and night shifts.
- Hourly rate of $23.61 to $28.25 per hour

As a Caregiver at Broadview Lifecare, no two days will be the same, but you can be certain that each day you will leave work feeling fulfilled knowing that you’ve made a big difference in somebody else’s day. The work can be challenging, but it is also meaningful and rewarding, and your supportive and welcoming team will become your second family. As a Caregiver, you will use your skills to:
- Work together in a team to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for our residents.
- Follow individual resident care plans.
- Form lasting relationships with residents and their whanāu | family.
- Adapt and support your wider team members to create a great team environment.
Skills & Experience / He pūkenga tou
- A great team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others.
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with residents, their families and your team members.
- Be familiar with computers and have the ability to learn new systems.
- Experience within aged care would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.

Broadview Lifecare is an 85-bed Care Home and Hospital with a 27-unit Village situated in a rural setting.
