As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be involved in a variety of duties that ensure the care home continues to operate safely and is aesthetically pleasing. This is a vital role that ensures the safety of residents and the ability to make them feel at home.

You will be involved in:

• Customer service and building rapport with residents
• Preventative maintenance
• Conducting general handyperson duties including repairs, painting, moving of furniture, and hanging pictures
• Exterior maintenance including water blasting, clearing of gutters, and painting

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator seeking permanent part-time employment while being able to make a difference in the lives of others. As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be involved in a variety of duties that ensure the care home continues to operate safely and is aesthetically pleasing. He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience 

• Previous general maintenance and basic repair experience preferred
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time-management skills, and the ability to prioritise
• The ability to work as part of a multiskilled team, and independently
• Strong customer service focus toward both residents and external suppliers
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
