About the role:
- Telford Lifecare, located in Taranaki city of New Plymouth
- Fixed-Term, Maternity Leave cover (15 hours per week)
- PM and Weekend shifts
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant, with a passion for working in a culinary environment, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will have a positive can-do attitude, have the belief that good food is important to well-being, and be great at working with people.
As a Kitchen Assistant at Telford Lifecare, you will be responsible for helping to provide hearty nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring any individual food requirements are met. You will need to be reliable and eager to lend a hand.
You will bring
- Proven experience working in a kitchen, preferably a commercial kitchen
- Excellent food hygiene skills with a current food hygiene certificate (or the ability to sit one)
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability for PM and Weekend shifts
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
