Carter House Lifecare is a 65-bed Care Home and Hospital with a 26-unit Village situated in beautiful park like grounds. We are located in the popular country town of Te Puke, which is a popular place to work and live. You can escape the hustle and bustle whilst being in close proximity to the city of Tauranga. It’s an attractive lifestyle with beautiful beaches nearby, a warm climate, few traffic woes, affordable housing, and many great amenities - including cafes and schools. Why would you want to work anywhere else?

We recognise the Treaty of Waitangi and its importance to Māori and how it applies to the work at Heritage Lifecare. This includes adhering to the concepts of whanaungatanga, whakapapa and manaakitanga when dealing with people to foster an environment where people can work together with ease and understanding.

Our team is built on the foundation of respecting individuals, both residents and staff. We pride ourselves on creating a ‘Better everyday – everyday’ for our residents.
