What you will do:
Set the Clinical Compass -You’ll lead the design and implementation of a forward-thinking national clinical strategy, ensuring our services are innovative, consistent, and aligned with national health reforms.
Inspire and Empower Regional Leaders - Mentor our Regional Clinical and Quality Managers, building capability and clinical influence across the motu. Your leadership will drive regionally responsive and nationally consistent care.
Uplift Quality & Governance - Be the guardian of clinical governance and continuous improvement. Streamline operations, elevate care quality, and embed excellence in every facility — all while meeting HealthCERT and MOH standards.
Champion Collaboration & Integration -Connect the dots between primary care, allied health, Māori and Pacific providers, and our internal teams. You’ll lead with heart and purpose to create seamless, culturally safe care experiences.
Drive Measurable Impact - Whether it's through improved audit results, resident satisfaction, or staff development, your work will drive real, measurable change.
About you:
· A Registered Health Professional (e.g. RN) with a current APC in NZ
· 8–10+ years of experience in clinical/aged care leadership
· Strategic prowess with national or multi-site oversight
· A master of change management, cultural competence, and regulatory excellence
· A true collaborator and inspiring leader, committed to Māori health equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
Bonus points if you’ve got a postgrad qualification in Health Management, Gerontology, or Public Health!
