As a Cook at Redroofs Lifecare, you will be preparing and cooking hearty nutritious meals for aged residents that meet individual food requirements. You will be working within a functioning kitchen and supported by the wider team. This is a great opportunity to showcase your cooking skills while being able to make a true difference in the lives of others.  

He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • Knowledge of food hygiene practices, with a current Food Hygiene Certificate or the willingness to obtain
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and also independently
  • Availability to accept a range of shift times, and additional shifts when required
