Heritage Lifecare has rewarding opportunities available for experienced Caregivers on a permanent Part-time basis to join our dedicated team at Chiswick Lifecare in Palmerston North.
- Part-time shifts available
- AM, PM, Nights and Weekends
- Hourly rate of $23.61 - $28.25 per hour

As a Caregiver at Chiswick Lifecare, no two days will be the same, but you can be certain that each day you will leave work feeling fulfilled knowing that you’ve made a big difference in somebody else’s day. The work can be challenging, but it is also meaningful and rewarding, and your supportive and welcoming team will become your second family. As a Caregiver, you will use your skills to:
- Work together in a team to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for our residents
- Follow individual resident care plans
- Form lasting relationships with residents and their whanāu | family
- Adapt and support your wider team members to create a great team environment
He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience
- A great team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others
- Good communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with residents, their families and your team members
- Be familiar with computers and have the ability to learn new systems
- Level 2, 3 or 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or equivalent would be desirable.
- Experience within aged care would be beneficial, but not essential
- Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
